Laura L. Worsham is a partner at Jones, Allen & Fuquay. She has distinguished herself within the Dallas legal community as an exceptional business bankruptcy and appellate attorney handling a substantive portion of the firm's bankruptcy and appellate work.

Born in Dallas, Texas in 1957, Laura attended Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas where she graduated with Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Biology. She received her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's University Law School, where she was the notes and comment editor for the St. Mary's Law Journal. While at St. Mary's she was on the dean's list, Magister of Phi Delta Phi and served as a Legal Research and Writing Instructor.

Laura was admitted to the Texas State Bar in 1982 and served as a Briefing Attorney to the Texas Supreme Court from 1982-1983. She was admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern, Eastern, Southern and Western District of Texas in 1983 and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit in 1985.

She has an extensive history of involvement in the Texas legal community, including membership in the John C. Ford American Inn of Court. Laura has published papers in the St. Mary's Law Journal and taught Legal Research and Writing at the Texas Wesleyan School of Law for several years.

Laura has distinguished herself as a business bankruptcy and appellate attorney. She also has had great success in a variety of legal specialties including banking and finance law, business and commercial law, business organization, real estate and litigation and appeals.
